European packaging manufacturer Smurfit Kappa has created a corrugated mail order pack for wine bottles.
The ‘Protektapak’ box, designed to withstand the “gruelling” postal environment, provides transit protection for bottles, the paper-based packaging company said today (20 November).
Smurfit Kappa created the pack following a briefing by winehound.co.uk to develop an environmentally friendly and sustainable alternative to protective mailing packs currently used in the market.
